Zelestra and SJVN Partner for 500 MW Hybrid Renewable Project in Maharashtra

Zelestra has signed a long-term agreement with SJVN Limited to supply firm and dispatchable renewable energy in India, marking a significant step toward sustainable power solutions. The collaboration will lead to the development of a 500 MW hybrid project in Maharashtra, integrating multiple renewable energy technologies to ensure 24/7 carbon-free power.

The project will include 250 MWdc of solar, 180 MW of wind, and a 90 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS). This setup is designed to provide reliable energy supply, especially during peak demand hours.

For Zelestra, this milestone further strengthens its 5.4 GW renewable energy pipeline in India, reinforcing its role in delivering customized, multi-technology clean energy solutions.

By leveraging hybrid renewable energy with storage, Zelestra and SJVN are accelerating India’s transition to a more resilient and sustainable energy future.
