WBPDCL Invites Bids for O&M of 1.891 MW Rooftop Solar Project at Kolaghat Thermal Power Station

The West Bengal Power Development Corporation (WBPDCL) has issued a tender for the comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) of a 1.891 MW rooftop solar project located at Kolaghat Thermal Power Station for a period of two years.
Key Tender Details:
- Bid Submission Deadline: March 29, 2025
- Bid Opening Date: April 2, 2025
- Earnest Money Deposit (EMD): Rs89,332 (~$1,027.32)
- Performance Bank Guarantee: 10% of the contract value (to be submitted within 30 days of work order issuance)
- Additional Performance Security: 10% if the accepted bid value is 80% or lower than the estimated value
Scope of Work:
- Comprehensive maintenance of solar components
- Routine inspections and periodic module cleaning
- Real-time performance monitoring
- Adherence to safety protocols
- Maintaining project uptime above 98%
- Periodic reporting on energy generation and system performance
- Relocation of 553.28 kW solar modules due to the demolition of Power House Units 1 and 2, transitioning them to a ground-mounted system
