Jul 23, 2025
True Power Limited has announced a Rs100 crore investment to establish Uttar Pradesh’s largest solar panel manufacturing facility in Barabanki. The plant will have an annual capacity of 1 GW and is expected to generate employment for hundreds of local youth. This development aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India) vision and supports the state government’s focus on renewable energy and economic growth.
The Bhumi Pujan ceremony for the new plant was led by company Managing Director Hari Om Tiwari and Director Shiv Om Tiwari. Speaking at the event, Hari Om Tiwari credited the supportive policies of PM Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for giving the company the confidence to invest in this green initiative.
Founded in 2008, True Power is a prominent player in chemical earthing, lightning protection, and solar solutions. The company operates eight factories and maintains 26 branch offices across India and abroad. The upcoming facility is expected to contribute significantly to India’s clean energy roadmap, enhance domestic manufacturing capabilities, and promote local job creation in the renewable sector.
