Top States in India’s Solar Growth

India’s solar energy sector continues to expand, with five states leading in installed capacity as of February 28, 2025. Rajasthan remains the top solar powerhouse with 33.46 GW, followed by Gujarat at 32.96 GW. Tamil Nadu holds the third position with 24.58 GW, while Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh contribute 21.58 GW and 10.36 GW, respectively.
