TGGENCO Issues Tender for 56 MW Solar Project DPR in Telangana

Telangana Power Generation Corporation Ltd. (TGGENCO) has floated a tender for preparing a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for 56 MW of solar projects, including floating and ground-mounted installations across Telangana. The bid submission deadline is March 21, 2025.

Scope of Work

DPR preparation covering technical specifications and commercial aspects for three grid-connected solar projects:

• 15 MW floating solar PV (FSPV) plant on the raw water reservoir at Yadadri Thermal Power Station (YTPS) (5x800MW).
• 28 MW ground-mounted solar plant on vacant land at KTPP.
• 13 MW floating solar plant on the raw water reservoir at KTPP.

Financials & Eligibility

• Contract Value: Rs12.96 lakh.
• Earnest Money Deposit (EMD): Rs6,480.
• Annual Turnover Requirement: Rs3.88 lakh for at least 2 years in the last 3 years.
• Technical Criteria: Bidders must have experience in consultancy services, including feasibility studies and DPR preparation, with at least one floating solar plant and one ground-mounted solar plant completed in India in the last five years.

Bid Submission & Opening

• Last Date for Bid Submission: March 21, 2025, by 3:00 PM.
• Techno-commercial Bid Opening: March 21, 2025, at 4:30 PM.
• Financial Bid Opening: March 26, 2025.
