TERI and BSES Join Forces to Modernize Delhi’s Energy Sector

In a major step toward advancing Delhi’s energy infrastructure, TERI has signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL) and BSES Yamuna Power Limited (BYPL) on March 12, 2025. This collaboration will focus on deploying innovative solutions in grid-connected rooftop solar PV systems, energy storage, electric vehicle (EV) integration, and smart grid technologies.

The MoUs were signed by Dr. Vibha Dhawan, Director General, TERI, alongside Mr. Abhishek Ranjan, CEO of BRPL, and Mr. Amarjeet Singh, CEO of BYPL, at TERI’s Delhi office. Mr. Amal Sinha, Group Director, BSES Delhi, was also present at the signing.

This strategic partnership aims to enhance Delhi’s energy resilience, improve grid efficiency, and accelerate the transition to clean energy. By integrating advanced technologies, the initiative is expected to drive sustainable power distribution and support India's broader renewable energy goals.
