SolRiver Capital Begins Construction on 7 MW Longleaf Solar Project in North Carolina

SolRiver Capital has commenced onsite construction at its 7 MW Longleaf Solar Project in Davie County, North Carolina. The company acquired the project as a development asset, completed the necessary work, and brought it to Notice to Proceed (NTP). Once operational in Q2 2025, Longleaf Solar will contribute to SolRiver's growing 100 MW Carolinas portfolio.

Key Highlights:
  • Portfolio Expansion:
    • SolRiver has been active in the Carolinas since 2019, with multiple projects under development.
    • The 6 MW Williams Solar Project is also under construction, with completion expected alongside Longleaf.
  • Strategic Use of Safe-Harbor Panels:
    • Panels were purchased and stored in 2023 under the safe harbor provision, allowing SolRiver to mitigate supply chain uncertainties.
    • These panels have been deployed across multiple projects in North Carolina.

The Longleaf Solar Project represents SolRiver’s continued commitment to renewable energy growth in the Southeastern U.S., ensuring a stable and scalable clean energy future.
