SCCL Issues Bid for 137 MW Solar Projects in Telangana

Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), a state-owned coal mining firm, has issued two tenders for the development of 137 MW solar projects in Telangana. The projects will be implemented in multiple locations, with an earnest money deposit (EMD) of Rs1 crore per tender.
Tender 1: 107 MW Ground-Mounted & OB Dump-Based Solar Projects
Locations & Capacity:
- 5 MW at STPP
- 37 MW at Ramagundam-3 (20 MW OB Dump, 17 MW Ground)
- 5 MW at Sathupalli, Kothagudem
Eligibility Criteria:
- Executed at least 90 MW of grid-connected solar projects in the last 10 years, including one project of 70 MW or more.
- Minimum annual turnover of Rs312 crore and a working capital of Rs200 crore.
Submission Deadline:
April 11, 2025
Tender 2: 30 MW Ground-Mounted Solar Project
Locations & Capacity:
- 15 MW at Yellandu
- 10 MW at Bhupalpalli
- 5 MW at RG-1 area
Eligibility Criteria:
- Completed at least 22 MW of solar projects, including two projects of 10 MW each.
- Minimum annual turnover of Rs86 crore and working capital of Rs55 crore.
Submission Deadline:
April 15, 2025

- Design, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC)
- Installation, Testing, & Commissioning
- 10-Year Operations & Maintenance (O&M)
- Equipment Sourcing: Modules and inverters must be from the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM).
