Replus to Expand Battery Pack Production to 6 GWh in Pune

Replus, a subsidiary of Bhilwara Energy Ltd, is set to expand its Pune battery pack production facility from 1 GWh to 6 GWh within a year. This expansion aims to meet the rising demand in both the electric vehicle (EV) and energy storage system (ESS) markets.

• The facility will produce battery solutions for electric passenger vehicles, buses, trucks, and grid-scale renewable energy storage.
• It will support high-energy density cells, including blade cells and advanced chemistries like Na-ion, LMFP, and LTO.
• Replus has 70 MWh of BESS project experience and an order pipeline of 600 MWh for BESS and 300 MWh for EV battery packs.

The expansion aligns with India's push for domestic battery manufacturing, strengthening the country's energy security and transition to cleaner mobility.
