Renewable Rise: A Decade of Energy Transition

India's renewable energy capacity surged 191% over the past decade, growing from 75.52 GW (2004-2014) to 220 GW (2014-2024). Solar energy led the expansion with a remarkable 3200% increase, rising from 2.82 GW to 93 GW.

Wind energy also saw a significant 128% jump, reaching 48 GW from 21 GW. This rapid progress underscores India's strong commitment to clean energy, sustainability, and achieving a greener future.
