POWERGRID Shines at ITOMS 2025, Wins Best Presentation Award for Resilient & Digital Grid Vision

POWERGRID has been recognized as one of the top-performing utilities globally during the benchmarking exercise at ITOMS 2025, held in São Paulo, Brazil. The company achieved high performance indices while maintaining low operational costs. Director (Operations) Shri Naveen Srivastava presented on “Powering India @ 2047: A Vision for a Resilient, Green and Digital Grid,” earning the Best Presentation Award.
The presentation highlighted POWERGRID’s Reliability-Centred Maintenance framework for transmission assets, emphasizing innovation and efficiency in grid operations. The company also showcased pioneering technologies including Wi-Fi integration in grid systems, I2P (Industrial Internet Protocol), deployment of robots for inspection and maintenance, and its positive experience with ester as an eco-friendly insulating fluid. These advances underline POWERGRID’s commitment to sustainability, reliability, and digital transformation in the power transmission sector.
