OPG Mobility Strengthens Leadership Team with Strategic Senior Appointments to Drive EV and Solar Growth

OPG Mobility (formerly Okaya EV) has announced a major expansion of its leadership team by appointing three seasoned industry professionals to drive growth across its EV and energy solutions verticals. The company appointed Raushan Kumar as Executive Vice President and Sales Head for Solar System Solutions at MTEKPOWER, Sandeep Mathur as Vice President and Sales Head for Inverter & Battery Businesses, and Amit Kumar Gupta as Associate Vice President for the OTTOOPG 3-Wheeler division.

The leadership expansion highlights OPG Mobility’s continued growth and commitment to leading innovation in India’s electric mobility sector. Raushan Kumar, with over 30 years of experience in solar and battery industries—including key roles at Livguard, Havells, and Amara Raja—will lead MTEKPOWER’s solar solutions strategy and sales. Sandeep Mathur brings more than three decades of experience in IT hardware and power electronics, having held leadership positions at Microtek and Okaya Power. He will drive product development and national expansion for the inverter and battery portfolio.

Amit Kumar Gupta, with 26 years of experience at Tata Motors, Mahindra, and Greaves Electric Mobility, will spearhead OTTOOPG’s sales strategy to scale the 3-wheeler commercial EV segment. His focus will be on strengthening market presence, enhancing distribution, and delivering customer-focused electric mobility solutions.

Anand Amrit Raj, Chief Human Resources Officer at OPG Mobility, emphasized that the appointments align with the company’s vision of building an innovation-driven, people-powered organization. Each executive also expressed enthusiasm about joining OPG Mobility during a transformative phase and highlighted their commitment to accelerating growth in solar, battery, and electric vehicle markets.
