NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd. Floats Tender for 813 MW Wind Project in Karnataka

NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd. (NTPC REL) has issued a tender for the supply and installation of 271 wind turbine generators (WTGs) for a 813 MW ISTS-connected wind project in Bellary, Karnataka. The project aims to enhance India's wind energy capacity and integrate it into the national grid.

The scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection, installation, testing, and commissioning of MNRE RLMM-listed WTGs with a capacity of 3.0 MW or above. The successful bidder will also need to install control panels, SCADA systems, and other essential grid integration infrastructure to ensure the project's efficiency.

Additionally, bidders must provide 10-year comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) services. Other key requirements include:

• Tender document fee: INR 22,500
• Bid security amount: INR 100 crore
• Bid submission deadline: May 8, 2025, 3:00 PM
• Techno-commercial bid opening: May 8, 2025, 3:30 PM

Eligibility Criteria:

• The bidder must be a manufacturer of an MNRE-approved WTG model (minimum 3000 kW capacity) listed in the RLMM before bid opening.
• Financially, the bidder’s average annual turnover in the last three years must be at least INR 106.80 lakh per MW of quoted capacity.
• The bidder must also have a positive net worth as of the last financial year or quarter.
