NISE Hosts Delegation from DR Congo to Strengthen Solar Energy Collaboration

The National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) welcomed a delegation of 35 diplomats from the Democratic Republic of Congo on March 24, 2025. The visit, organized by the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service (SSIFS), was attended by Ms. Anita Shukla, Joint Secretary (FT & NRG).

Dr. Mohammad Rihan, DG NISE, addressed the delegation, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in addressing climate change. The visit featured discussions on training and capacity-building initiatives, along with a showcase of NISE’s advanced solar research facilities, including laboratories, a hydrogen dispensing station, and innovative solar products developed through in-house R&D.
