NHPC Partners with IIM Jammu to Boost Leadership and HR Development

NHPC Limited has entered into a strategic partnership with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on July 31, 2025, at NHPC's Corporate Office in Faridabad. The collaboration aims to strengthen leadership development, research, and capacity-building programs for NHPC personnel. The MoU was formalized by Shri Rajeev R. Asthana, General Manager (HRD) of NHPC, and Cmdr. Kesavan Baskkaran (Retd.), Chief Administrative Officer of IIM Jammu, in the presence of Shri Uttam Lal, Director (Personnel), NHPC.

Shri Uttam Lal emphasized that this partnership reflects NHPC's commitment to structured learning and the strategic advancement of its human resource capabilities. The initiative is aligned with national development goals and incorporates global best practices in HR and leadership training. This MoU marks an important step for NHPC in nurturing managerial talent and building a future-ready workforce through academic-industry collaboration.
