NHPC Issues Tenders for 39.73 MW Rooftop Solar Projects in Sikkim and J&K

NHPC has invited bids for 39.73 MW of rooftop solar projects for government buildings in Sikkim and Jammu & Kashmir under the Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model.
Sikkim (5.06 MW)
- Bids for six districts, ranging from 270 kW to 1,790 kW, are due by February 24, 2025.
- Bidders must have installed at least 400 kW of solar systems.
- Completion period for the projects is nine months.
Jammu & Kashmir (34.67 MW)
- Bids for projects in three categories (5 kW to 100+ kW) are due by February 21, 2025.
- Financial requirements include a turnover of Rs178.3-Rs271.3 lakh.
- Completion period for the projects is nine months.
These projects aim to enhance government building energy efficiency while adhering to national solar standards.
