MNRE Expands ALMM to 67,401 MW with New Additions

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has updated the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) for solar modules, adding 3,015 MW of new capacity, bringing the total to 67,401 MW. Notable additions include BVG India (367 MW), KLK Ventures (33 MW), and Rayzon Solar (1,369 MW).

The ALMM now features 90 manufacturers, with new entries like Emmvee Energy, Renewsys India, and ReNew. Additionally, a new ALMM list for solar cells (List-II) will take effect in June 2026, mandating projects to use List-I modules made with List-II cells.
