MNRE Concludes Solar Energy Training for Global Delegates

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) hosted a valedictory function to mark the successful completion of the "Solar Energy Technologies and Applications" training program. Organized by the National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) under the ITEC (Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation) initiative of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), the program aimed to enhance global cooperation in solar energy.

A total of 29 delegates from 20 countries participated in the training, gaining insights into India’s solar energy policies and best practices. The event was chaired by Shri Sudeep Jain, Additional Secretary, MNRE, who also awarded certificates to the participants. Delegates shared their experiences, highlighting the knowledge gained from NISE’s training sessions.

This initiative reinforces India’s leadership in capacity-building and international collaboration in the renewable energy sector, supporting global efforts toward a sustainable and solar-powered future.
