KPTCL Floats Tender for 500 MW/1000 MWh Standalone Battery Energy Storage System

The Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) has issued a global competitive bidding tender for the development of a 500 MW/1000 MWh Standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at selected substations across Karnataka. The project will be implemented on a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) basis with Viability Gap Funding (VGF).
