KPI Green Energy Advances WithKhavda 200 MW Solar Project In Gujarat, Targeting Early Completion

KPI Green Energy is advancing its 200 MW (240 MW DC) solar project in Khavda, Gujarat, awarded by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL) in August 2023. Scheduled for completion by November 2025, KPI aims for early delivery, boosting its IPP portfolio from 171 MWp to 411 MWp.

The Khavda site offers optimal conditions with 300+ sunny days annually and high solar irradiation (2,060 kWh/m²), ensuring efficiency. Advanced technologies include IoT-powered robotic cleaning, SCADA systems for real-time monitoring, and corrosion-resistant infrastructure. Sustainability measures, such as reduced water usage and optimized cable protection, ensure reliability.
