Jupiter Electric Mobility Launches TEZ Electric LCV and New Manufacturing Plant

Jupiter Electric Mobility has officially launched its highly anticipated TEZ electric light commercial vehicle (e-LCV) in Indore at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs10.35 lakhs. The vehicle is designed for last-mile logistics with a payload capacity of 1050 kg and a true driving range of 190+ km (IDC: 318 km).
Key Specifications of TEZ-LFP:
- Battery: 30 kWh LFP
- Power & Torque: 80 kW peak power, 265 Nm peak torque
- Charging: DC fast charging (100 km in 1 hr via CCS2), AC charging (4-8 hrs)
- Warranty: 3 years/1.25 lakh km (vehicle), 7 years/2 lakh km (battery)
- Gradeability: 23%, making it suitable for varied terrains
Alongside the TEZ launch, Jupiter Electric Mobility inaugurated its EV manufacturing plant in Pithampur, spanning 2.5 acres with an annual production capacity of 8,000–10,000 e-LCVs. The company has planned phased capacity expansions to meet growing market demand.
To ensure a robust EV ecosystem, Jupiter Electric Mobility is collaborating with Porter, Pulse Energy, Battwheels Garages, and TapFin, focusing on charging infrastructure, financing, and after-sales support.
Managing Director Vivek Lohia outlined ambitious financial targets, projecting Rs100 crore revenue in the first year with a 2X year-on-year growth plan.
