JSW Energy Secures 1.6 GW Thermal Power Project, Achieves 30 GW Capacity Milestone

JSW Energy Ltd has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (WBSEDCL) for a 1.6 GW thermal power project. This development strengthens JSW Energy’s presence in India's power sector, reinforcing its role in supplying reliable electricity.

With this new project, JSW Energy has now reached a significant milestone of 30 GW in total capacity. The company has been expanding its portfolio across various energy segments, including renewable power, to align with India’s evolving energy transition goals.
