JSW Energy Q4 Profit Rises 16% to Rs408 Cr, Targets 30 GW Capacity Expansion

May 16, 2025

JSW Energy reported a 16% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit for Q4 FY25, reaching Rs408 crore, up from Rs351 crore in the same period last year. The company’s revenue from operations increased to Rs3,189 crore, with EBITDA for the quarter growing 17% to Rs1,512 crore, mainly driven by capacity additions in the renewable segment and contributions from KSK Mahanadi Power Ltd.

For the full year FY25, JSW Energy’s revenue rose 6% to Rs12,639 crore, and net profit increased by 13% to Rs1,951 crore. Annual EBITDA rose to Rs6,115 crore, supported by renewable energy capacity expansions and contributions from both Utkal and KSK thermal power plants. The board has recommended a final dividend of Rs2.0 per share, pending shareholder approval.

The company has also raised its power generation target to 30 GW as it continues to strengthen its presence in both thermal and renewable segments, underlining its ambitions in India’s rapidly growing energy market.
