JSW Energy Appoints Aditya Agarwal as COO – Renewable

JSW Energy has announced the appointment of Mr. Aditya Agarwal as Chief Operating Officer – Renewable, effective June 16, 2025. The decision was approved by the company’s committee and disclosed in a regulatory filing. Agarwal brings over 34 years of experience in both renewable and thermal power sectors, with deep expertise in project execution, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

He previously served JSW Energy from November 2007 to April 2024, contributing significantly to project development and commissioning efforts. Prior to his reappointment, he held the position of CEO and Head of Battery Business at Waaree Energies Limited, where he played a key role in leading large-scale clean energy projects. Agarwal's return is seen as a strategic move to strengthen JSW Energy’s renewable energy portfolio and drive its growth in the evolving power sector landscape.
