Insolation Green Energy Bags Rs36 Crore Solar Module Order from Nexgen Energies
Apr 15, 2025
In a fresh boost to its growing order book, Insolation Green Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Insolation Energy (INA Solar), has secured a Rs36.01 crore order from Nexgen Energies for the supply of Mono PERC solar modules.
According to a regulatory filing, the delivery of the modules will take place during FY 2025–26. The company stated that the new order reaffirms its commitment to delivering advanced solar solutions and further strengthens its position in India’s solar manufacturing landscape.
Momentum Continues with Record Orders
This announcement follows a series of major wins for Insolation Green Energy in recent months:
- In March 2025, the company received its largest-ever single order worth Rs733.04 crore from KPI Green Energy for N-type bifacial (glass-to-glass) solar PV modules.
- It also secured a 25 MW order worth Rs32 crore from Teerth Gopicon for module supplies.
- Additionally, INA Solar won 38.43 MW of solar power projects under Component A of the PM-KUSUM Yojana in Rajasthan, expected to bring in Rs134 crore in investment and generate Rs18.33 crore in annual revenue.
- Earlier, the company also bagged 78 MW rooftop solar projects worth Rs340.2 crore for government buildings in Jaipur, Dausa, and Churu districts, awarded by the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation (RREC) under the hybrid annuity model.
Scaling Up for Future Growth
To meet rising demand, INA Solar is significantly expanding its production capabilities. By FY 2025–26, the company aims to reach:
- 8 GW of PV module manufacturing capacity
- 3 GW of solar cell production
- 54,000 MTA aluminium frame capacity
These expansions will reinforce INA Solar’s leadership in India’s fast-growing renewable energy manufacturing sector.
The company also reported a consolidated unaudited provisional revenue of Rs1,338 crore in FY 2024–25, an 80.49% jump from Rs741.32 crore in FY 2023–24.
With strong project execution, a robust pipeline, and growing manufacturing scale, Insolation Energy is positioning itself as a key player in India’s clean energy transformation.
