Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) Reports Strong Growth with 13.7% Revenue Rise

The Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) recorded robust growth in Q3 FY’25, achieving a 13.7% revenue increase to INR 160.5 crore and a 16.9% rise in PAT to INR 107.3 crore.
Electricity volumes grew 15.9% YoY, trading 30.5 BU, while Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) trading surged by 31%. The Day-Ahead Market saw a 62% increase in sell quantum, leading to a 26% drop in average prices, benefiting Discoms and commercial buyers. Additionally, the Indian Gas Exchange reported a 93% YoY growth in traded volumes.
