India’s Centre of Excellence for Energy Transition Launched

The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power, and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish the Centre of Excellence for Energy Transition (CoEET) in Hyderabad. The Centre will focus on research, innovation, and capacity-building to support India’s transition to clean energy. It will explore solutions for emission reductions, energy efficiency, and low-carbon technologies across sectors like power, transport, and industry.

The CoEET will promote collaboration among corporations, industries, and academia for a sustainable energy future.
