GUVNL Invites Bids for 250 MW Solar Power Projects

Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL) has invited bids to procure power from 250 MW grid-connected solar projects with a greenshoe option of another 250 MW. The deadline for bid submission is February 10, 2025. Bidders must pay a processing fee of Rs300,000 plus GST and provide a bank guarantee of Rs 928,000 per MW.
Projects under construction or without long-term PPAs are eligible. The minimum capacity is 50 MW for interstate and 10 MW for STU-connected projects. GUVNL plans 25-year PPAs and mandates a 22?pacity utilization factor.
