Greenko and Odisha Government Collaborate on 1200 MW Pumped Hydro Project

Greenko has signed an MoU with the Government of Odisha to develop a 1200 MW Off-Stream Closed-Loop Pumped Hydro Storage Project in Kalahandi. The project, with an investment of Rs7,000 crores, aims to enhance Odisha's and India's energy transition by integrating renewables to provide round-the-clock carbon-free energy. This initiative will also contribute to a Digital Cloud Storage Platform for industrial decarbonization in hard-to-abate sectors.
