Floating Solar Workshop: Advancing Land-Neutral Solar Innovations

The Two-Day Workshop on Floating Solar Technology, organized by SCGJ & EY India under the TISA project, was successfully completed with the support of GIZ India and in association with GERMI. This initiative, part of the Indo-German Energy Programme, supports MNRE in promoting Land-Neutral & Dual-Use Solar Applications (NISA) across India.

Held at Gujarat Energy Research & Management Institute (GERMI) in Gandhinagar from March 3-4, 2025, the workshop emphasized the role of R&D collaborations, policy support, and knowledge transfer in accelerating floating solar adoption.
This initiative marks a significant step towards scaling floating solar projects, enhancing energy security, and promoting innovative solar deployment in India.
