Floating Solar Technology Workshop: Advancing Land-Neutral Solar Solutions

The Floating Solar Technology Workshop, organized by the Skill Council for Green Jobs (SCGJ) and EY India, was successfully conducted under the TISA project, supported by GIZ India in association with Grooming Beyond – An Academy for Skill Excellence. This initiative aligns with the Indo-German Energy Programme, aiding MNRE in promoting Land-Neutral and Dual-Use New & Innovative Solar Applications (NISA) across India.

Participants explored the 92 MW Floating Solar PV plant at NTPC Kayamkulam, gaining real-world insights into FPV project execution and performance.
The workshop provided valuable discussions, knowledge exchange, and expert guidance on scaling floating solar adoption in India. With continued policy support and industry collaboration, floating solar can play a crucial role in India’s renewable energy transition!
