Cuba Signs Country Partnership Framework with International Solar Alliance (ISA) to Advance Solar Energy

The International Solar Alliance (ISA) has signed its first-ever Country Partnership Framework (CPF) in the Latin America and the Caribbean Region with Cuba, marking a significant step toward expanding solar energy collaborations in the region.
Key Highlights of the Agreement:
- Strengthens solar energy initiatives in Cuba
- Supports Cuba’s transition to clean energy
- Expands ISA’s programmatic solar engagements in Latin America
The agreement was formalized in New Delhi by Ashish Khanna, Director General, ISA, and Juan Carlos Marsán Aguilera, Ambassador of Cuba to India, in the presence of Dr. Eduardo Martínez Díaz, Cuba’s Deputy Prime Minister.
With this milestone, Cuba joins Bangladesh and Bhutan in signing similar Country Partnership Frameworks with ISA, further reinforcing the alliance’s global mission to accelerate solar energy adoption.
