CMPDI Invites Bids for 1,300 kW Rooftop Solar Project in Uttar Pradesh

The Central Mine Planning and Design Institute (CMPDI), a subsidiary of Coal India, has issued a tender for implementing a grid-connected rooftop solar power project with a capacity of 1,300 kW for Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL). The project will cover the integrated water supply system and the Khadia, Kakri, and Bina mines in the NCL area, Uttar Pradesh.

The deadline for submitting bids is February 22, 2025, with bid opening scheduled for February 24, 2025.

The selected bidder will be responsible for the design, engineering, procurement, supply, fabrication, erection, testing, and commissioning of the solar project. This includes civil, structural, and electrical work for power evacuation and securing connectivity approvals.

The contractor must provide operation and maintenance services for the project for a period of 10 years.

The project must be completed within 12.5 months from the award of the contract.
