Apr 25, 2025

A delegation from Climate Parliament, including Brazilian lawmakers and Indian Members of Parliament (MPs), recently visited Greenko’s Integrated Renewable Energy Project (IREP) at Pinnapuram, Kurnool, a groundbreaking project at the forefront of global energy transition. The delegation was guided by Maurya Pydah, Group COO & ED, and Srinivasa Rao, Project Director, through the various components of this world-first, largest GW-scale Integrated Renewable Energy Project.

The delegation was briefed about Greenko’s Intelligent RE Cloud Storage Platform, which will develop 100 GWh of storage via multiple Pumped Storage Projects (PSP) integrated with renewables across India. The project is a key enabler of India’s One Nation One Grid policy, offering reliable, efficient, and carbon-free energy while reducing 3.3 million tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.

The delegation praised the swift execution of the project and its role in global decarbonization and energy security. The visit included several distinguished figures, including Senator Fabiano Contarato from Brazil and Indian MPs such as Smt. Malvika Devi Ji and Shri Bastipati Nagaraju Ji from Kurnool. The visit underscored the collaborative efforts needed to accelerate the transition towards sustainable energy solutions globally.
