Chemplast Sanmar Secures 85 MW Solar & Wind PPA with JSW Energy

Chemplast Sanmar Limited has signed an 85 MW Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with JSW Energy Ltd. for a Rs463 Cr project, including Rs31 Cr in equity investment. The agreement covers 64.9 MW of solar energy and 20 MW of wind power, marking a major step in the company's transition to green energy solutions.

This collaboration was the result of an extensive selection process, evaluating over 40 developers before finalizing JSW Energy. The project is expected to reduce carbon emissions, enhance energy sustainability, and lower electricity costs for Chemplast Sanmar.
