May 03, 2025
As global electricity demand is projected to double by 2050, businesses—accounting for 75% of this growth—are emerging as central players in the energy transition. Drivers include AI-powered data centers, electrification, and reshoring. Over 80% of businesses expect higher electricity use in the next three years, with 70% prioritizing electrification, emissions cuts, and cost efficiency.
