Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) Invites Public Comments on Draft Methodologies for India’s Carbon Market

The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) has released draft methodologies for technology adoption under the Carbon Credit Trading System (CCTS). The 12 proposed methodologies include areas like grid-connected renewable energy generation, hydrogen production from biogas, methane recovery, biofuel production, afforestation, and emission reductions through electric vehicles.
BEE is inviting public comments and suggestions on these methodologies until January 30, 2025. Stakeholders are encouraged to submit their inputs via email, with more details available in the official notification.
