BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL) has been awarded the CBIP Award 2024 for the Best Performing Power Distribution Utility by the Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBIP). The award was presented by Ghanshyam Prasad (Chairperson, CEA) and Dr. Mukesh Kumar Sinha (Chairman, CWC) in recognition of BRPL’s outstanding performance in power distribution.

The award, instituted by CBIP (a Government of India organization established in 1927), serves as a benchmark of excellence in India’s power, water, and renewable energy sectors. The selection was made by a jury of eminent industry leaders, including former CERC and PSERC members, SECI officials, and NHPC executives.
