Bridge and Roof Company Invites Bids for 100 MW Solar Project

Bridge and Roof Company, a Government of India enterprise, has issued a tender for topographical survey, soil investigation, and project planning for a 100 MW solar project by SJVN Green Energy. The deadline for bid submission is March 11, 2025, with bid opening on the same day.

Bidders must pay a tender fee of Rs590 and submit an earnest money deposit (EMD) of Rs10,000 . A 5% security deposit will be deducted from each contractor payment, along with statutory deductions like income tax. The project must be completed within three months from the issuance of the work order or letter of intent. The estimated contract value is Rs0.19 crore, and bidders can quote a percentage increase, decrease, or match this value.

Eligibility criteria require bidders to have completed:

• Three projects worth at least Rs850,000 each, or
• Two projects of Rs10 lakheach, or
• One project of Rs0.16 million crore in the last seven years.

Applicants must submit notarized copies of work orders and completion certificates. They must also have an average annual turnover of Rs650,000 in the last three years and maintain a positive net worth. A bank solvency certificate (issued within three months of the bid deadline) is also required.

Bridge and Roof Company previously won the EPC contract for this solar project from SJVN Green Energy in January. The tender aims to finalize the groundwork for the project’s execution, aligning with India’s renewable energy expansion goals.
