Blueleaf Energy Acquires Stake in Jakson Green’s 1 GW Solar Portfolio to Boost Renewable Energy Growth

In a major development for India’s renewable energy sector, Blueleaf Energy, a Macquarie Group company, has agreed to acquire a significant stake in Jakson Green’s 1 GW solar energy portfolio. The deal highlights the growing interest of global investors in India’s clean energy market and underscores the importance of strategic partnerships in driving large-scale renewable energy projects.

The portfolio includes multiple solar projects across India, contributing to the country’s ambitious renewable energy targets. The partnership strengthens Jakson Green’s position in the renewable energy sector and accelerates the development of its solar projects.

The firm provided essential support through Developed detailed financial models to optimize project structuring, ensure competitive bidding, offered technical inputs for bids submitted to nodal agencies such as Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (RUVNL), Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), and NHPC.
