Avaada Group to Invest Rs50,000 Crore in Madhya Pradesh for 10.8 GW Renewable Energy Projects

Avaada Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Madhya Pradesh, committing an investment of Rs50,000 crore to develop 10,800 MW of renewable energy projects. The MoU was signed at the MP-GIS 2025 Curtain Raiser event, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.

  • Solar Energy – 6,000 MW
  • Wind Energy – 700 MW
  • Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) – 2,100 MW
  • Pumped Storage Projects (PSP) – 2,000 MW
  • Green Energy Equipment Manufacturing Facilities

Avaada has a long-standing history in the state, having developed a 151 MW solar project in 2013, which was then Asia’s largest and the world’s second-largest solar plant.
