Apr 19, 2025
AMPIN Energy Transition has entered a 75 MWp renewable energy Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with UltraTech Cement, marking a significant step in the decarbonisation of industrial power consumption. The solar project, located in Sindhari, Balotra (Rajasthan), will supply clean energy to four UltraTech cement plants across the state.
This partnership is expected to reduce UltraTech’s power costs by approximately 35% compared to traditional discom tariffs, while also contributing to the company’s ambitious sustainability objectives. It reinforces AMPIN’s position as a preferred renewable energy partner for India’s cement sector, with several repeat collaborations highlighting industry trust and impact.
The agreement underlines the role of commercial and industrial (C&I) partnerships in accelerating India's energy transition and achieving cost-effective emissions reductions.
