Amara Raja Wins SECI's BoS Auction for 300 MW Solar Project in Andhra Pradesh

Amara Raja Infra (ARIPL), a subsidiary of Amara Raja Batteries, has secured a significant contract from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to provide the Balance of System (BoS) for a 300 MW grid-connected solar power project at Ramagiri, Andhra Pradesh.

The contract is valued at Rs544 Cr . This project forms part of the Central Public Sector Undertaking Scheme Phase II, which aims to deploy 12,000 MW of solar capacity nationwide. The scope of work for ARIPL includes designing, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the project, along with five years of operation and maintenance services.

The solar modules will be supplied by SECI, with ARIPL responsible for inspecting and ensuring the performance and certification of these modules. The project must be completed within 18 months.
This win adds to Amara Raja's growing presence in the solar energy sector.
