Alpex Solar Secures Rs1,068.84 Cr in Project Wins, Cements Position as Leading EPC Player

May 16, 2025

Alpex Solar Ltd. has significantly expanded its footprint in India's renewable energy sector, clinching project orders worth Rs1,068.84 crore. Among the standout achievements is a Rs349.99 crore order from CMPDIL, a Coal India Limited subsidiary, executed in partnership with NVNR Power. This project involves setting up a grid-connected ground-mounted solar plant at Nandan Washery, alongside a 32kV double-circuit transmission line and bay extension works.

The company also secured major module supply contracts: Rs210 crore from SECI, Rs378 crore from a prominent industry player, Rs380.52 crore from a major Indian manufacturer, and Rs65.33 crore from the Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency for the supply of 2,119 solar water pumps.

Ashwani Sehgal, Managing Director of Alpex Solar, emphasized that these successive wins validate the company's full-spectrum solar capabilities and its rising stature as a key EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) player in India’s solar market. These developments reinforce Alpex Solar's role in supporting India’s clean energy targets and grid infrastructure expansion.
