Adani Green Energy Crosses 12,000 MW, Paving the Way for India's Largest Renewable Project
Mar 01, 2025
Adani Green Energy has surpassed 12,000 MW of operational renewable energy capacity, marking a significant milestone in India’s clean energy transition. This achievement aligns with the company’s broader vision of reaching 50,000 MW by 2030.
At the heart of this expansion is the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat, which, when completed, will be the world’s largest renewable energy plant with a 30,000 MW capacity spread across 538 sq km.
By rapidly scaling up its wind and solar capacity, Adani Green is contributing to India’s 500 GW non-fossil fuel target, reducing carbon emissions, and reinforcing the country’s position as a global leader in renewable energy.
