Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) Wins Major Renewable Energy Transmission Project

Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) has secured a Rs250 billion contract for the Bhadla-Fatehpur HVDC transmission project. This initiative will evacuate 6,000 MW of renewable energy from Rajasthan to North India and the national grid, as part of a larger plan to transmit 20,000 MW from the state. The 2,400 km system, with a 7,500 MVA capacity, features full power reversal capabilities. Awarded via tariff-based competitive bidding, the project follows a build, own, operate, and transfer model and must be completed within 4.5 years.
