4.2 MWp Solar Project Commissioned Under PM-KUSUM in Gujarat

Mar 07, 2025

A significant step toward sustainable energy was marked with the successful commissioning of a 4.2 MWp ground-mounted solar project under the PM-KUSUM scheme. Implemented by Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL), this project reinforces India’s commitment to expanding decentralized solar energy solutions for agricultural and rural power needs.

Wattglow Power has done the EPC execution & commissioning of the above 4.2 MWp solar project, along with the installation of an 11kV Transmission Line. This project came with its challenges—especially in setting up the transmission line from the plant to the substation. But with expertise, dedication, and relentless effort, it was delivered on time.

The PM-KUSUM scheme aims to promote solar energy adoption among farmers, ensuring energy security and reducing reliance on conventional power sources. Overcoming various challenges, this project stands as a testament to the dedication and resilience of all stakeholders involved.
