PM Modi Highlights Madhya Pradesh’s Transformation at GIS 2025

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2025 in Bhopal, emphasizing Madhya Pradesh’s evolution into a power-surplus state and a growing hub for clean energy, electric vehicles (EVs), and battery manufacturing.

  • Power Sector Growth: Madhya Pradesh now has 31,000 MW of power generation capacity, with 30% coming from clean energy.
  • Renewable Energy Leadership: MP hosts major projects like Rewa Solar Park and Omkareshwar Floating Solar Plant.
  • Massive Investment in RE: Over Rs50,000 crore has been invested in India’s renewable energy sector in the past 10 years, creating 10 lakh jobs in 2024 alone.
  • Industrial Expansion: The state has 300+ industrial zones, with Pithampur, Ratlam, and Dewas emerging as investment hubs.

Petrochemical Hub Development
