MNRE to Host National Workshop on Renewable Energy Finance

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) is set to host a National Workshop on Mobilizing Finance for Renewable Energy to accelerate India's clean energy transition on 24th February 2025 at St. Regis, Mumbai, Maharashtra. The workshop will bring together banks, financial institutions, and investors to explore financing mechanisms for scaling up renewable energy projects. Mobilizing capital is key to achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030.

Discussions will cover policy frameworks, risk mitigation, and innovative financing models for solar, wind, and emerging green technologies. This strategic workshop is a key opportunity for financial leaders to shape India's clean energy future and strengthen the renewable energy finance ecosystem.
